ABOUT ME
Personal Finance Expert, Award-Winning Educator, and Founder of Good For You Money
Hi! I'm Linda, a Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ (CFEI®) and recipient of the NGPF Distinguished Educator award in personal finance. I'm a speaker, coach, and company advisor who helps ambitious professionals build wealth from wherever they're starting.
Before all that, I'm a proud first-generation American, first in my family to graduate college, and first to build wealth.
I didn’t grow up with wealth. In my family, we didn't talk about money and were focused on survival.
In 2009, I graduated into the Great Recession, worked three jobs to pay off my student loans, and taught myself how to build wealth from scratch while climbing the corporate ladder.
By day, I led multimillion-dollar marketing campaigns in corporate, agency, and tech, managing return on investment (ROI), strategy, and growth forecasting.
By night, I was budgeting every dollar of my paycheck, paying off debt, and learning to invest while starting from less than zero.
That dual experience taught me something powerful:
Financial freedom isn’t just for the wealthy or well-connected.
It’s a skillset and you can learn it.
Financial education should be practical, inclusive, and judgment-free.
I started Good For You Money for women like me: first-gen professionals navigating life, work, and money on their own.
All are welcome, but my heart is especially with women who feel behind, overlooked, or exhausted by financial systems that weren’t built for us.
When you work with me, you work directly with me. No hand-offs, no junior coaches. You get personalized support from someone who's walked this path.
